Could The Boys Survive The Hulk? What would happen if Hulk entered the brutal world of The Boys, where Vought believes every superhuman can be controlled, studied, weaponized, or destroyed? When Bruce Banner suddenly finds himself in a New York dominated by Homelander and The Seven, Vought quickly discovers that his powers have nothing to do with Compound V. Instead of helping him return home, Vought makes the worst possible decision: they try to understand Hulk by forcing Bruce to transform. Pain, confinement, electrical shocks, and fear push Bruce beyond his limit, unleashing Hulk inside a Vought research facility. But Hulk isn't searching for civilians to kill. He is trying to escape the people attacking him, and every new weapon Vought sends only makes him angrier. Then Homelander arrives, convinced that another powerful creature should immediately recognize his superiority. The first Hulk vs. Homelander confrontation quickly exposes the problem. Homelander initially controls the battle with superior speed, flight, and heat vision, but every attack increases Hulk's rage. Eventually Hulk catches him, tears him out of the air, and sends America's greatest Supe back to Seven Tower injured and humiliated. Hughie approaches Hulk without a weapon while Starlight, Kimiko, MM, and even Butcher demonstrate through their actions that they are protecting people instead of attacking him. Hulk is still powerful enough to destroy everyone around him, but Hughie attempts something Homelander and Vought never seriously considered: reaching Bruce instead of defeating Hulk.
