The Selway River: A Once-in-a-Lifetime Whitewater Adventure

Join us for an unforgettable rafting trip down Idaho’s legendary Selway River—one of the most remote and difficult whitewater permits to get in the United States. This video follows our journey through the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, combining the biggest rapids, incredible campsites and the stories that made each day memorable. Along the way, I interviewed two people each day about the most interesting thing that happened, then built the video around their stories and our experience on the river. From technical whitewater and major rapids to quiet evenings at camp, the Selway delivered everything we hoped it would. I don’t know if I’ll ever have the opportunity to run this river again, but I’ll always be grateful that we had this trip.
