Was the Amiga CD32 as bad as people say?

Episode 47 - Time to take a look at another console, this time the Amiga CD32 based around the chipset of the Amiga 1200. I really liked this system, true it has not aged too well but I think the developers never really gave it a chance and made the effort to make software that took advantage of it's capabilities.
