In this video I attempted to add landing gear to my drone. While the drone is made of 3D printed parts (designed in Fusion 360) and carbon fiber tubes, the landing gear is made of aluminum- however I really don't like the design, so I won't be using it. I also reviewed several recommendations for landing gear by users on Reddit.
Oh yeah- and the drone actually has 16 motors and propellers, not 8, so it's actually a hexadecacopter and not an octocopter :) I'll cover the exact model of motors and propellers I'm using in a later video.
