Hi friends!
In today’s practical and beginner-friendly tutorial, I’ll show you how to create a basic bodysuit (bodysheaper) sewing pattern – including long sleeve, short sleeve, and sleeveless options. This is a must-have base pattern for designing all kinds of bodysuit styles!
One important tip: make sure to use stretch fabrics (like lycra, spandex, or jersey) for better fit and body contouring. This base pattern is also perfect for transforming into a swimsuit design, which I’ll explain step-by-step in my upcoming videos.
In our tutorials, it doesn’t matter which software you use—or even if you're drafting patterns by hand on paper. Either way, you can benefit from these lessons, as every step is clearly explained with formulas and detailed, step-by-step guidance.
