Example Of Mary's Motherhood // Mother's Day

Mother's Sunday 05/10/26 It portrays the good and example of Mary's motherhood. This video, titled "Example Of Mary's Motherhood," delivered on Mother's Day, provides a biblical examination of Mary's life and her role as a mother, highlighting three core principles of her character: 1. Surrender to God's Purpose (20:51 - 32:00): Mary's response to the angel (Luke 1:38) exemplified a spirit of total submission. By calling herself the "handmaid of the Lord," she expressed a willingness to serve God's plan unconditionally, regardless of her own understanding or the uncertainties ahead. 2. Submission to God's Word (55:35 - 1:32:40): The speaker emphasizes how Mary "treasured" and "pondered" God's words in her heart (Luke 2:19, 2:51). She actively guarded against spiritual distractions, chose to stay focused on divine instructions, and sought wisdom directly from God rather than relying on human understanding. 3. Steadfast Faithfulness (1:32:45 - 1:56:45): Even in the face of deep suffering, such as witnessing the crucifixion of her son Jesus (1:33:12), Mary remained present and loyal. The speaker contrasts this with others who fled or denied their association with Christ, pointing to Mary as a model of enduring, "unmovable" faith and spiritual strength. Throughout the message, the preacher encourages listeners to mirror these traits—surrender, deep meditation on scripture, and steadfastness—in their own lives and service to God.
