Along the way, we stop by Sarashina Sohonten for some rustic-style soba, a place I used to visit often. Then we continue toward Nakano Broadway, famous around the world for its unique subculture scene. Inside Nakano Broadway, we discover more than just its famous subculture shops, including a unique shrine-themed shop and a lively food market in the basement. From there, we wander through Hakusen-dori and Fureai Road before returning to Nakano Sun Mall in the evening. We then take a look at Nakano Sunplaza, one of Nakano’s most iconic landmarks, and walk along Nakano-dori, which is especially beautiful during cherry blossom season. Finally, we head to the South Exit and stroll along Nakano Renga-zaka, a charming slope lined with great places to eat.
