Held since 1984, it is known as the largest German festival in the Americas; last year's edition drew 689,201 visitors. 🎟 Free admission on six days: October 7, 8, 13, 19, 20 and 25. Other days, full / half price: R$ 24 / R$ 12 on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, R$ 60 / R$ 30 on Fridays and holiday eves, R$ 80 / R$ 40 on Saturdays — charged only from 6 pm Wednesday to Friday and from 1 pm on Saturdays, Sundays and the October 12 holiday. October 11 and 12 (holiday weekend) have their own prices. Kids up to 12 get in free with an adult; visitors in traditional German costume that follows the festival rules pay half price.
