Sophisto Fusion Guitar Backing Track in D Major | 68 BPM | Lydian Fusion

Sophisto Fusion is a smooth, melodic D Major guitar backing track at 68 BPM in 2/4, built around a weightless progressive-fusion feel with luminous Lydian-inspired harmony. This one has a floating, almost ascending quality to it. The harmony stays rooted around D Major while extended chords and brighter modal colors create plenty of opportunities to move between straightforward major phrasing and more atmospheric ideas. 🎸 For Musicians: Tonal Center: D Major Tempo: 68 BPM Time Signature: 2/4 Scale suggestions: • D Major • D Major Pentatonic • D Lydian • B Minor Pentatonic Start with D Major or D Major Pentatonic for the most natural melodic approach. When the harmony exposes that brighter raised-4 color, bring in D Lydian and let the G♯ create that suspended, weightless feeling. This one especially rewards slower melodic phrasing, sustained notes, chord-tone targeting, and letting the harmony do some of the work.
