Hiero — The Best Summer of My Life | Skate Punk / Pop Punk | Headspace 90: 1998

A melodic skate-punk / pop-punk song about friendship, summer festivals, and life on the road in 1998. “The Best Summer of My Life” follows four young bandmates chasing the next stage in a van that might not survive the journey. Twenty-two states, cheap guitars, motel pools, and an EP that’s completely sold out. Inspired by the spirit of Warped Tour summers, this chapter captures the excitement of playing to new crowds and finding your place in the noise. Between breakdowns on the interstate and arguments over running late, there’s barely any money—and nowhere they’d rather be. Every wrong turn becomes another story, every show another reason to keep going. Fast melodic riffs, driving bass, frantic drums, and shouted gang vocals turn the chaos into a summer anthem. It’s loud, messy, exhausting, and everything they hoped it would be. “The Best Summer of My Life” is the 1998 chapter of HEADSPACE 90 — VOL. 1, a concept album exploring the 1990s through ten songs: one year, one musical style, and a teenager’s memories, emotions, or present moment. Created by Hiero, bringing stories to life through music and concept albums.
