Best Minecraft railway network tutorial - part 1. T-junction

This will show how to build the best minecart railway / metro network. This will redirect the train to its destination completely automatically. Have a fully functioning train network in vanilla Minecraft where you select a station, and the train will find the shortest path to get to the destination. This should be enough for someone with some basic redstone knowledge up and running with their own rail network. This will be part one of three videos.
