A short film about how fishing can shape a life. Made a couple of years ago, A Love Letter to Cornwall follows Tim — from rock-pooling as a child, through a career in neuroscience in London, to the decision that changed everything: moving to the Cornish coast to fish. Along the way he lure-fishes the open coast for bass, with pollock, wrasse and mackerel turning up alongside, and dolphins and seals for company. It's less a how-to and more a why — a quiet, beautifully shot reminder of what draws us to the water in the first place. Put it on, settle in.
