Stoma Pancaking

🄿🄰🄽🄲🄰🄺🄸🄽🄶: Pancaking occurs when a vacuum (absence of air) occurs in the stoma bag, preventing the soma output dropping down into the bag. This can happen with a colostomy or ileostomy. The main reason for pancaking is due to the filter on the bag letting all the air out so there is none left in the bag.
