New Week, New Theme, New HOPE!!! We begin this promising week with talking about our reference! During this week's vids we will be sharing the reference photos where we paint from, but more importantly, the decisions that are taken when attempting to translate the info that is in the photo into painting. That is perhaps THE most important aspect of these five exercises. To understand that our goal is not (necessarily) to paint a photo (unless you're doing photorealism which is not my jam but if it's yours, more power to you), but to identify the information that comes from our reference that is useful when we're trying to exhibit and emphasize our intent.
