Gatwick Airport May 1997 Boeing 747 - DC10 and others

Filmed around 11am from the public viewing area. Plenty of DC10s and Boeing 747s. The BA 747 on its long take off was I think heading to Philadelphia. The Northwest DC10-30 (Reg N228NW) had a technical problem and had to return to the gate (not seen in this video). It was at the head of the queue when it had to turn back. The Virgin 747 at the end of the video is G-VBIG which at the time was only a year old. In fact it was two days under its first birthday.
