Family Deck Project

It’s time for a family project! 🔨🏡 In this video, we’re at our daughter Hayley and her husband Leith’s house, tackling a big outdoor project—rebuilding their deck and making it larger! Rather than starting completely from scratch, we’re working with the existing deck structure, removing the old decking and expanding the footprint to create a much bigger and more functional outdoor space. Our son Brent is taking the lead on the construction, with Leith, Hayley, and Andrew and I pitching in along the way. There’s measuring, cutting, building, problem-solving, and, of course, plenty of family teamwork as we bring the new deck together. Projects like this are always more enjoyable when the whole family gets involved, and we’re excited to share the progress and transformation with you.
