This Liquid Friday Nr4 unfolds as a musical meeting between longtime friends Clíodhna Ní Aodáin (violoncello & vocals) and Matthias Wenger (alto & baritone sax, bass clarinet, keys, beats & soundscapes)—a first-time duo encounter in this improvised setting, where their shared history meets spontaneous creation. Clíodhna reveals her Irish roots through her playing in this captivating concert, weaving improvised Celtic cello melodies over Matthias’s atmospheric soundscapes, enriched by his saxophones and bass clarinet as well as driving bodhrán rhythms.
