Namibia 24-day camping safari - Days 15 to 19 - Etosha National Park

Completed days 15 to 19 of a 24-day camping safari through South Africa and Namibia. Days 15 to 17 took us through Etosha National Park in northern Namibia where we stayed at Namutoni Camp which was built into an old German Fort. Etosha National Park is unique in Africa. The park’s main characteristic is a salt pan so large it can be seen from space. Yet there is abundant wildlife that congregates around the waterholes where we saw elephants, black rhino, lions and more giraffe than we've ever seen in one place. On days 18 and 19, we traveled south and camped our way toward the southern border of Namibia. Never have we camped so many days in a row and never have we had so much fun.
