Drivin With Tyrone - North Quarry - Webbington - Somerset

Welcome back to Up and Around. This excursion takes us to Somerset and the North Quarry at Webbington. The crag is just off the M5 motorway, but to get to it from the north, you have to leave the M5 at junction 21 and wind your way some 7 miles through Banwell and Winscombe. When you arrive at North Quarry, you will find parking opposite the main gate. I’ve heard that the quarry is also used by off-road bikers, however I haven’t seen any while I’ve been there. The quarry is a compact but daunting. Holding mainly sport with a few trad routes and some great multi pitch routes on the massive main slab. We’ve moved onto to the left of the Subsidiary slab to climb Drivin’ With Tyrone which is an F5+ route.
