SKD “Prosvjeta” from Udbina is an ensemble that brings together enthusiasts of traditional music of the Lika region, especially the village of Udbina. The members of the ensemble are Serbs who are dedicated to cherishing the cultural heritage of their ancestors. The group's repertoire includes traditional songs that have been passed down from generation to generation, and their performances often accompany local celebrations and cultural events. Through their activities, SKD “Prosvjeta” strengthens the identity and unity of the local community. Their repertoire includes traditional songs such as lički ojkan, "na bas" songs, as well as many other tunes characteristic of the local folklore and spiritual heritage of the Serbs from Lika. Udbina – a village in the historic region of Lika, situated on a vast karst plain at the foot of the Dinaric Alps. This region has preserved a rich tradition of ojkanje singing, shepherd songs, and a repertoire characteristic of the communities living in the borderlands of Lika and northern Dalmatia. Lika is located between the Velebit mountain range (to the west) and Plješevica and Kapela (to the east). Administratively, it belongs to the following counties: Lika-Senj County, Šibenik-Knin County and Zadar County.
