Amalumbo is a Zambian word meaning “Praises". The song is a heartfelt expression of gratitude to God for the gifts, blessings and grace He has freely and unconditionally given us. It acknowledges that every good and perfect gift comes from Him; therefore, He alone is the ultimate recipient of all honour, glory and praise. Amalumbo is born from the Afrocentric and Zambiacentric musical concept we have proudly called Ngoma Sha Kwesu , meaning “Drums from Our Homeland.” This concept celebrates Zambia’s rich indigenous rhythms, traditional instruments and African cultural identity, beautifully woven into authentic songs of praise and worship. More than just a song, Amalumbo is a joyful sound of thanksgiving—a reminder that our talents, lives and blessings all come from God and must ultimately return to Him as praise.
