Batabano Carnival 2012 Part 2 Grand Cayman Island

This is the Part 2 of Batabano Carnival. An annual event held in May in the Grand Cayman Island. Participants around the world gather as one in a small nation. Batabano was launched by the Rotary Club in 1984. The word Batabano is linked to the Island's history in turtling and is the word given to the tracks left by turtles when they drag themselves onto the beach to nest in the sand.
