HYCHIKA sent me an electric spray gun to test, so I'm finding out whether one of these can actually lay down a proper finish on a classic car. This episode is a bit different from the usual build updates. Instead of cracking on with the MK2 Fiesta bodywork, I'm putting a HYCHIKA electric spray gun through its paces — what it's like to set up, how it sprays, how it copes with the panels, and whether I'd trust it on my own paint job.
