External Service Breaking REST API | Notification Service Failure in Order API

Learn how an external Email or Notification Service can break your Order REST API when it is tightly coupled with the core request flow. This video explains how service downtime can cause delays, API failures, and cascading issues, and why notifications should be processed asynchronously. We also discuss recording the notification intent first and sending it later for a more resilient Spring Boot architecture. #restapi #springboot #notificationservice #emaileervice #microservices #systemdesign #backenddevelopment #faulttolerance #outboxpattern #eventdrivenarchitecture
