A window to El Paso in your living room. On September 22, 2026, a monsoon storm rolled over the Franklin Mountains in El Paso, Texas. We filmed it from one spot for 24 hours: blue hour, a night of lightning lighting up the clouds, fog swallowing the mountain, a blue dawn, and the storm clearing into blue sky. Every flash is real. Most of the lightning stayed inside the clouds, so the whole sky lights up. The one bolt you see at the start, at 1:08 AM, is gently slowed down. In the film, the big light-ups play at real speed and everything between them is sped up. The rain you hear is this storm's own. Shot on iPhone 17 Pro Max. 4K HDR. Rain recorded during the storm.
