Sarajevo, YUGOSLAVIA - 1984 Winter Games, Ice Dancing, Original Set Pattern ("Paso Doble") - Judy Blumberg and Michael Seibert of the United States edged out Klimova & Ponomarenko of the Soviet Union for 3rd Place in this dance to remain in 3rd Place overall. There was some controversy regarding their dance, whether or not the slow tempo chosen by them maintained the essence of the Paso Doble theme.
