Kaligandaki Corridor | चिनदेखि भारत; नेपालको बाटो | Kaligandaki Corridor Route | उत्तर-दक्षिण लोकमार्ग कालीगण्डकी करिडोर China to India; नेपालको बाटो | Kaligandaki Corridor NH48 or Kaligandaki Corridor (Nepali: काली गन्डकी राजमार्ग) is an under construction around 500 kilometres long highway in Nepal starting from Gaidakot, Nawalpur and ending at korala boarder, the northern part near the Chinese border. It is one of the National Pride Projects. After the completion, about 1 million people of 10 districts will have direct access to motorable road. Main locality includes Nawalpur, Palpa, Syangja, Gulmi, Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang. The highway NH48 crosses the main east west highway at gaidakot and mid hill highway at maldhunga baglung. #KaligandakiCorridor #NorthSouthCorridor I started my bike ride from Korala (China Nepal) Boarder. Exploring chooser then lomathang village i decided to stay there. in my second day i started my ride from lo manthang upper mustang. Passing through beautiful village Charang i take tea break at Ghami Village. After that the road leads to kagbeni through sanpochen, samar and chusang. Kagbeni mustang the juction to muktinath and upper mustang i continue my ride towards jomsom ( the capital of Mustang). After reaching marfa (specially known as apple village) i buy some apples and other local product as gift (kosali). i continue my ride towards beni myagdi. Because of the road condition and need rest to continue next day ride i decide to stay at baglung. The Next day i started my ride from maldhunga baglung toward ramdi palpa. This section of road is in rapid construction process. Experience beautiful villages like balewa baglung, Purtighat Gulmi, Harmichaur palpa, i left the corridor and bypass the most difficult section of ridi- ranimahal-ramdi via mirmi: kaligandaki dam. In this section the road has proporllay constructed upto Ranimal but there is no connection between ramdi and ranimahal ; you have to take long route via tansen Palpa. After reaching pipaldada from Ramdi the new section of kaligandaki corridor road started up to Gaidakot nawalpur crossing Hungi, Rampur palpa, dedgaun, bulingtar nawalpur.
