DIDSBURY Car Show 2026 - first visit!

In today's Old Classic Car video we're off to the Didsbury car show 2026 edition. Didsbury is situated in South Manchester, just a couple of miles from where I grew up. I'd heard of the Didsbury car show but had never made it over until now. Mrs OCC and I headed over in the MX-5 to check it out. Coincidentally, as we were getting closer I asked a pedestrian for a few directions to the show field, and it turned out that he was a follower of the channel - small world! While it's not specifically a classic car show, the vast majority of the cars that turned up to the Didsbury car show definitely fitted either the modern classic, classic car or vintage car description, and the turnout was impressive. Many of the cars we hadn't seen before, one though was a car I went to look at after seeing it advertised online for sale in 2025 and nearly bought - it was interesting to see it again, before long a "for sale" sign appeared in its window so clearly it was still looking for a new home. Highlights at the 2026 Didsbury car show included a vintage Armstrong-Siddeley, Jaguar XJS/Lynx Eventer, Rochdale GT, pre-war Packard coupe, a 1920s Rolls-Royce, 1930s Hillman Minx and a Ford Thames 400E. There was a lot to see! If you found this Didsbury car show video of interest, please give it a like and leave a comment.
