A day in Japan, away from family but surrounded by good company. 🇯🇵 Join us on a bicycle adventure to Himeji Castle, one of Japan’s beautiful landmarks. What started as a simple day off with my coworkers turned into a day filled with scenic views, little souvenirs, ramen, laughter, and memories worth keeping. Living abroad isn’t always easy. Being far from the people you love can be difficult, but I’ve learned that happiness can also be found in the little things — exploring new places, sharing meals, and spending time with people who make life here feel a little less lonely. We ended our day at a mountain I often visit, where I took a moment to pray and give thanks for the blessings, the people I love, and the strength to keep moving forward. This is everyday life in Japan as a Filipina living and working abroad — finding my own little moments of happiness while continuing to work toward a better future for my family.
