I went to my friend’s father’s burial reception and somehow… MY YORUBA PEOPLE BROUGHT A WHOLE GORILLA 😭😂 There was dancing, good food, an after-party, club girls with sparklers and then an actual inflatable gorilla showed up. Because apparently, that’s how we’re doing burial receptions now. 😂 Of course, behind all the celebration was a family saying goodbye to someone they loved, but the reception was also a celebration of his life, filled with family, friends, laughter and memories.
