Mt Somers Summit Track, Hakatere Conservation Park, Canterbury New Zealand

Instagram page here   / nz_alpine   Use Google or Apple Maps and search "Mt Somers Summit". This will take you to the Sharplin Falls Reserve Carpark where you can leave your car and begin the track. It took us 4 hours going up and 3 hours coming down, I recommend you take LOTS OF WATER AND FOOD! I also advise you to have strong footwear with lots of grip and you have a decent level of fitness as the track is long and gets very steep towards the top of the mountain. The views are BEYOND WORTH IT, you will NOT regret hiking this track at all.
