This exercise is focused on drawing analysis and practical CATIA modeling. We will start by creating the main conical shape and then build the rest of the part step by step.
In this tutorial, we will use several important CATIA tools and techniques, including Shaft, Drafted Filleted Pad, Boolean Operations, Shell, Pad, Pocket, Circular Pattern, Project, Intersect, Sketch Analysis, and Dynamic Sectioning.
We will also create the conical recesses, bean-shaped holes, and flange holes shown in the engineering drawing.
This exercise is useful for CATIA beginners and intermediate users who want to improve their 3D modeling skills, drawing analysis, and understanding of CATIA Part Design tools.
If you are learning CATIA and want to improve your modeling skills through practical exercises, follow this series for more CATIA tutorials and engineering drawing exercises.
