A year cursed with news of passage. Disease that spreads like terror. Like the message on that fateful day. You were perfect, unlike anyone else. I still can’t make sense of this. A story too short, far from borrowed time. Sunward you climb, forever you’ll fly. I will live free in your memory. Breathe the love you left behind. I will live free in your memory, like the moon held by the midnight sky. Words like daggers cut straight through the bone. A eulogy that reads just like a poem.
