Christmas Cracker Run at Castlewhellan in County Down Northern Ireland on 27th December 2025.

The Christmas Cracker run is an Annual event run in Castlewhellan Country Park in County Down in Northern Ireland. Fans from all over the World come to see family members running in pairs. It costs each runner £40.00 sterling to compete. Runners from Northern Ireland Scotland Wales England the Republic of Ireland and even Europe come to have a good race. Runners dress up in fancy dress and this year one thousand five hundred runners took part. It is a mixed terrain course and is run over a course of eight and a half miles long. I was lucky to do an interview about half way through the video with Michael Beattie and Neil Beattie who are both brothers who competed the run in just over an hour Zach Hanna who ran the race last year came in second place along with his running partner. All money raised goes back into the Newcastle running club for next years event.
