This horse has spent a substantial amount of time packing into the deep wilderness and is used to camp life including high lines, hobbles, and electric fences. Woodrow has taken me anywhere I needed to go, especially elk hunting in the nastiest terrain an elk would go with weather to match. I’ve gone on leisurely family trail rides in the shade of pine trees or gathering and trailing cows in the hot dry desert. Woodrow has the drive to carry a big guy all day without ever needing to pedal him along. If you ask him to step up, he has an amazingly smooth gait but will also come right down to a walk if that is your preferred speed.
