Landing everywhere in Kerbal Space Program with a surprisingly small craft. Thanks to Ultimate Steve, Je, Benjineer, Celeste Astronautics, Arolaun, and OndrikB for agreeing to do this with me. Some interesting facts about this mission that might not be obvious: The Laythe upper stage is reused as the Duna lander. Its engine assists Kerbin ascent and is also the Tylo descent engine. Finally, parts from the stage provide sacrificial lithobraking for the Vall landing. The Eve upper stage is unguided to reduce dry mass and designed to be aerodynamically stable. Before the discovery that mass drivers worked well on Tylo, a similar principle was used for that lander as well. There's actually still a lot of mass to save here (which is expected since the craft was built nearly two years ago!) With more mass driver usage and recent innovations in propeller design and lithobraking tech, the mass can be reduced by at least 2 tons. A mission is in the works currently; it's a group project again, but I'm not directly involved this time. Music: Thomas Bergersen - Humanity Thomas Bergersen - Mountain Call
