This build can be found here: https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/2025/07/po...
This level has more interesting differences, starting from the intro: the sign was originally painted using the famous Looney Tunes background with two characters shown inside (in this gameplay I got Sylvester and Tweety)!
Now, why unstable level? Because the room IDs are messed up, starting from the first Alps room after the intro:
When you exit the intro room, the game was supposed to load the first snow room (room ID 31 in the C.M.S, Editor, a.k.a value 48), but it attempts to load another room which doesn't work at all (value 47, room ID 30) - likely from the unplayable Abandoned Mines level,.
Fortunately the C.M.S. Editor can load the actual first room... with glitched graphics, locked camera and sometimes the sprites might appear invisible (not present in this video) but the room is actually playable that you can even reach the exit. With some trial-and-error you can spawn the enemies and some cupcakes at least.
Well, the exit is another problem: it keeps Porky in the same room when the build was supposed to load the gondola room (room ID 32, value 49). The situation is even worse: attempting to load room 32 will crash the game for some reason... for now.
So let's check the second half of the level (room 33, value 50): the known Wackyland whose doors (except one) works but the exit is another unstable situation: they crash the game while attempting to load the Gondola room instead of returning to the intended first Wackyland section... oh well! Not even the intended normal exit at the end of the first Wackyland room (requires an extra jump/height to skip the pit) helps at all: same situation as the first Alps room.
Except one door? Yes, because this specific one leads to the intended next room! At least the following room works well as well as the exit but has snow at the end of this section, meaning the other Wackyland sections are absent in this build and the whole level is less complete than the Atlantis level.
In addition, the Wackyland graphics are also unstable: in the normal two sections, the top path's graphics will gitch out while in the door sections they will corrupt so much that you need savestates in order to explore with caution.
About the boss: it works as expected, the patterns are the same but the throw attack timing is very short! You should be closer and jump asap. Howewer, the exit from the second Wackyland section, despite having snow weather at the end, Porky will enter the boss room but with incorrent coordinates, failing out of bounds until you reach a certain point that an "exit" can be reached - another trap! The game tries to load the intro of the last level, but it doesn't work at all, as well as the entire level.
Like the previous boss, no boss music and defeat fanfare plays at all - only the normal level theme. The boss sneezes with corrupted Zzzz graphics which aren't intended to be harmful: touching them will damage Porky and even lose a life, resetting the fight.
The "Porky's Revenge" minigame location is easier to find than the previous ones shown before. This was the first location discovered before the other levels shown in the other footages. Credits to Rachel Mae for this :)
Once again it crashes at the end, but the job isn't done yet: messing with the current room values allows the first half of this level to be playable: somehow the developers forgot to setup the coordinates properly:
the locked camera function is from the next room (the autoscroller one) instead.
If the Gondola autoscroller room crashes when attempting to load from the C.M.S. Editor, fortunately I found a solution via cheating (again and again): while in the first room, if you change the current room value to 49 and lose a life, the game will load the second room without crashing at all, though with corrupted graphics.
Both rooms have a special item unit, and the last one is located in the first Wackyland room. If you want to access the snow minigame without accessing the options, I included some extra fun:
Since the third level is incomplete and the intro from the Mines level can be reached without much trouble, there's an oversight that is funny: entering the intro won't delete the fruit bowl weapon and the special items so you can use the C.M.S. Editor (well, in this build seems to work only if you're in intro rooms) and transport Porky to 5-3 (room ID 33).
Only Levels 1, 2, 3 and 5, as well as the Level 4 Boss can be played in this build:
Level 1 complete with minigames and the boss: • Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday (May 24, 1994 ...
Level 2 partially complete with another minigame: • Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday (May 24, 1994 ...
Level 3 partially complete with some of Level 4 stuff present: • Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday (May 24, 1994 ...
Also, the snow Level 5 rooms graphics can be "fixed" via "cheating": • Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday (May 24, 1994 ...
