Leon Majcen knows how to write and sing with a cadence that seems to have disappeared in the modern singer/songwriter genre. Echoing the charm of writers like John Prine, he is a reminder that the songwriting does not always have to be a dramatic and serious art-form. Often, it’s the sillier songs that say what’s too painful to express in plain English. He has one hell of a band as well, and it was an honor to film them at the Broken Bow Dancehall.
