The Roman Catholic Church teaches two kinds of exorcisms: minor and major. According to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, minor exorcisms are used during baptismal preparation (OCIA or the Order of Baptism for Children), while major exorcisms are formal rites performed only by specially appointed bishops or priests. In this video, I take a closer look at the Catholic rite of major exorcism and analyze the claims made by Msgr. Stephen Rossetti and Fr. Dan Reehil on The Lila Rose Show. Through a biblical lens, we’ll compare these teachings with Scripture to see whether they align with the gospel truth or add to it.
