🔥 CHICKEN STEW & FLUFFY DUMPLINGS | Kamado Joe BBQ 🍲

There’s nothing quite like a big bowl of homemade chicken stew when the weather turns cold! In today’s video, I’m getting outside and firing up the Kamado Joe to cook a proper hearty chicken stew, packed with tender chicken, fresh vegetables and a beautiful rich broth, all topped off with some lovely fluffy herb dumplings. I had some chicken legs and wings that needed using up, and rather than letting them go to waste, I thought I’d turn them into something special. By cooking the chicken on the bone, we get all that fantastic natural flavour into the broth before pulling the meat apart and turning it into a delicious, warming stew. And of course, no proper winter stew would be complete without some homemade herb dumplings! These cook right on top of the stew, soaking up all that lovely flavour. The whole thing is cooked outdoors over charcoal in a cast-iron pot on the Kamado Joe. It’s not always about low-and-slow brisket, ribs or steaks when it comes to outdoor cooking.
