CaNDak 2024 - Cycling Around North Dakota is awesome!

A rider's perspective of CaNDak -- Cycling Around North Dakota, a fully supported annual seven-day ride that goes through rolling hills and beautiful countryside (while raising funds for youth sports programs in the state). You can't tell from my video, but there were about 85 riders in 2024, and the atmosphere in camp was very fun, with people from all over the United States hanging out and having a great time -- even when bodies were tired from all of the miles in the saddle. The organizers did a great job of lining up entertainment at most stops, providing facilities for hot showers, arranging shuttles from camp to local attractions and events, and holding a brief meeting after dinner (supper, if you prefer) to go over the next day's route, complete with information on local restaurants, locations of bathrooms and water, notable landmarks, and anything else the riders would need to know before hitting the road in the morning.
