Ship NORTHERN VENTURE at Lock 8, Welland Canal, 2026

Later we see that the downbound NORTHERN VENTURE has passed by CUYAHOGA, heads to Lock 8, then departs Lock 8 and passes under the Main St bridge. The ship is accompanied all the way down the canal by the tug VAC, likely to assist with any ice that might be encountered along the way.
