In this video, I am using a firm sugar paste formulated by me. These instructions will work with any high quality sugar wax whether made by you or a professionally made one. There are a few different types of sugar wax available on the market:     -    Strip Sugar is the softest of the sugar waxes meaning it cannot be used with your hands such as the other pastes below. Strip sugar is applied in very thin layers and removed with a fabric waxing strip.     -    Soft/ Medium Sugar Paste is what a lot of professionals use at the salon, it is the most challenging to use compared to the others as it doesn’t hold its shape like the firm paste does. Some may prefer waxing larger surface areas such as the legs with this as the glide is quicker, however a firm sugar paste can be warmed and used similarly.     -    Firm Sugar Paste is what I use here and prefer for myself. I believe this is the most beginner friendly sugar paste as it has the thickest consistency and keeps its form throughout your session. It melts less quickly than a softer paste, making it great for areas that hold body heat like the underarms and the bikini area. Which sugar you choose is totally based on personal preference! You may notice that my paste looks quite firm here in this video. I am sitting near a window during a winter freeze to get good lighting and I was filming for a couple hours so my sugar cooled down a lot -  so please note that your sugar may appear a bit softer especially if you warm it up.   This video is for informational purposes only. Always do a patch test before using sugar wax. If you have sensitive skin or any skin conditions, consult a professional first. There is a technique to using sugar wax, and you are responsible for any reactions or injuries that may occur. Only attempt what you're comfortable with, and be sure to practice practice practice before waxing sensitive areas!
