How Can Farke Leave Tanaka Out After THAT?!

Has Ao Tanaka made himself undroppable at Leeds United? After another hugely impressive contribution, the debate in this week's Leeds United podcast starts with one question: how can Daniel Farke leave Tanaka out of this team? Chris and Sam discuss Tanaka's performance in the 1-1 draw at Brighton, his growing influence and whether he should now be one of the first names on the Leeds United team sheet. But that creates another question – who makes way? There's also a wider discussion around the Brighton performance. A point away from home is a good result, particularly given Leeds United's recent record there, but did Leeds actually let all three points slip away? Daniel Farke comes under scrutiny for his substitutions and the decision to protect a 1-0 lead rather than continuing to attack. Is sitting back and inviting pressure still the one major weakness Farke needs to remove from his management? Brenden Aaronson is another big talking point. Why does Farke remain so determined to find a place for him – and what does that mean for Tanaka and Harry Wilson? Leeds are competing well and creating chances, but could they be even better if Farke was slightly more adventurous when his side gets ahead?
