A Night Inside a Rich Medieval English Home | History for Sleep

Fall asleep to a calm, relaxing history story set inside the town house of a wealthy medieval merchant in York, England, in the autumn of 1395. Follow the merchant’s wife through one long evening as she locks the spice chest, counts the household stores, hosts supper in the great hall, sees the children to bed, and prepares the great curtained bed by candlelight. A slow, soothing bedtime story rooted in real medieval history, with no ads in the middle of the story, perfect for sleep, relaxation and quiet study. #historyforsleep #medievalhistory #sleephistory #bedtimestory #medievalengland
