Exploring the Muslim Side of Singapore 🇸🇬 | My First Impressions

Welcome to Singapore! 🇸🇬 In this vlog, I explore a different side of Singapore, discovering the country's vibrant Muslim community, rich Islamic heritage, incredible food, and fascinating culture. Singapore is known for its futuristic skyscrapers, modern infrastructure, and multicultural society, but did you know that Muslims make up a minority of the country's population? I wanted to explore Singapore beyond its famous tourist attractions and discover the Muslim side of this incredible country. My journey begins in Kampong Glam, one of Singapore's most historic and culturally significant neighbourhoods. I explore the famous Haji Lane, Arab Street, and Muscat Street, discovering the area's unique atmosphere, colourful streets, and Islamic heritage. One of the highlights of my visit was seeing the beautiful Sultan Mosque (Masjid Sultan), one of Singapore's most iconic mosques and an important landmark for the local Muslim community. Of course, I couldn't visit Singapore without trying some local food! I stopped at the famous Singapore Zam Zam Restaurant to try murtabak, a popular dish with strong Indian-Muslim influences. After exploring Singapore's Muslim neighbourhoods, I headed towards Marina Bay, where I experienced a completely different side of the city. From the incredible skyline and towering skyscrapers to the impressive Marina Bay shopping area, Singapore's modern architecture genuinely left me amazed. This vlog is all about experiencing Singapore for the first time, exploring its Muslim heritage, discovering different cultures, trying local food, and seeing what makes this small Southeast Asian country so unique.
