Metrolink 800 - SoCal's Lonely F40PH

During the 21st century, LA's commuter-rail-agency Metrolink once rostered a solo F40PH for a unique purpose as the companies "Tow-Truck", initially as a unit to be converted to a "Super F40" for a rebuild program. Where is it now? So yeah... 800 surprisingly got preserved! For the longest time i had the assumption it was nothing short of a rumor in the railfanning community, so to see it actually find a comfy seat in preservation was satisfying to hear. I had plans to talk about 800 as part of "Bite Sized Oddities", but as a result of the news, I figured to make a regular video about it. Stay tuned for another video for Halloween.
