Our Heavenly Father, we thank You, honour You, and worship You. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, true to Your Word.
You are the God of fruitfulness, multiplication, and abundance. You are our shield, the glory and the lifter of our heads.
You are the great I AM, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and the Master of all events. You hold all things together by the power of Your Word.
Be glorified, exalted, honoured, and adored in our families and our nation. We lift You high above all else, for You are the centre of all things.
Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
Father, thank You for the authority You have bestowed upon us in this nation, and for the grace and awesome responsibility to rewrite our nation's history and redefine a generation's destiny.
With our hands lifted, we say yes to Your will, to Your ways, and to Your working. Let Your kingdom come; Your will be done in this land, in this nation, and in our families.
Let Your Kingdom be superimposed over Uganda. By Your grace and mercy, redefine, redirect, and reshape our nation's destiny. Let Uganda serve You, and let our lives bring honour, praise, worship, and celebration to Your Name.
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Lord, we come before You in humility and in acknowledgement that it is Your mercy that has held and helped us to stand as a nation. When we stumbled, Your mercy held, secured, and sustained us.
Let Your face shine upon our land. Plant us in peace, prosperity, holiness, the fear of God, righteousness, and truth. Let truth prevail in our streets and courts, in high and low places. Let falsehood be buried, and let Your goodness be seen in Uganda.
May our sons, daughters, and yet-to-come generations witness Your doing and testify that there is a God in heaven who answers prayers.
Father, we present Uganda before You—Your own, Your child. You are watching over us for good. You are our Father, our Saviour, and our defender.
Brood over our land, and let light and goodness come forth. Let the centre of Jesus become the centre of this land. Let Your leadership and worship be established here, to the glory of Your name.
We pray for an awakening in this nation, a move of God that will define our nation's history for generations to come. Let Uganda become a nation that grows after You, seeks after You, cries after You, and yearns after You.
Isaiah 59:19 “When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.”
Mighty God of Israel, arise on behalf of this land. As You stood up for Israel in the days of Samuel, stand up for Uganda. Let Your thunder and Your lightning scatter every work that rises against Your will, purpose, and desire for this nation.
Lion of the tribe of Judah, prevail. Raise a standard above the enemy and above the wicked one. Let confusion come upon the forces of darkness, and let their plans fail.
We declare that in You we are secure, free, saved, and in You we prosper. Let there be restoration, healing, peace, and joy in Uganda.
Father, we invoke the blessing of Abraham over our nation. You called Abraham and blessed him, and You said that through him all nations would be blessed.
Let the blessing of the Abrahamic covenant speak over Uganda in preservation and protection of our land: every sector, the economy, politics, armed forces, education, media, entertainment, leadership, and families.
Let Your covenant purposes be established in our nation, and let all that glorifies Your name prevail.
2 Kings 19:34 “For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.”
Lord, You have said, “I will defend this city; I will protect it.” Defend our nation and protect our people. Let every enemy of this land that stands against Your will and purpose be brought to nothing.
We look to You, for no man will take the glory; this is Your doing, out of Your sovereignty. Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end in our land. Let evil bow before good, and let the gates of the righteous stand.
As a nation, we will not have fellowship with the throne of wickedness or with the evil throne that devises wickedness by laws. Let righteousness be established in our leadership and in every sector of our society.
Father, remember the widows, the poor, the oppressed, and the orphans. Stretch forth Your hand on their behalf, and let them smile again.
Let Your righteousness be the righteousness of our land. Thank You for Your forgiveness, Your deliverance, and Your cleansing. Wash us and cleanse us as a nation. Let the sceptre of Jesus be the sceptre of this land, and let the glory and honour belong to Your name alone.
