Patrick Morrisey and Larry Millard 1995 SIU C Glassblowing

This video was shot (on VHS) around 1995 at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale when I was there for my MFA. Patrick Morrisey (now owner of Prairie Dog Glass in New Mexico) makes a powder piece (over cobalt - powder means powdered colored glass which can create atmospheric painterly effects) and Larry makes a murrine (pronounced "muh-ree-nee) piece. This was while Bill Boysen was teaching there. Enjoy!
