Rotting behind iron gates and swallowed by the forests beyond Gilneas City, Blackwald Mansion was little more than a forgotten ruin—a decaying monument to a kingdom consumed by curse and isolation. But now, something stirs within its halls again. The mansion is no longer abandoned. Something has returned. Wild and feral Worgen roam the corridors, their howls echoing through collapsed chambers and moonlit galleries. Once-grand halls now twist into labyrinthine passageways overtaken by claw marks, bloodstained wood, and unnatural growth. Yet beneath the savagery lies something even darker. Arcane energies pulse through the walls. Ancient Drust magic festers beneath the estate. The deeper one ventures into Blackwald Mansion, the less the place obeys reason. Rooms shift unnaturally. Shadows move against candlelight. Ritual markings spread across forgotten libraries and hidden catacombs below the manor. The line between illusion and reality begins to fracture. Who is behind it all? What force has awakened beneath the mansion? Musically, the piece reflects that descent into madness: haunting strings, distant choirs, corrupted Gilnean motifs, and dark ambient textures woven together with gothic orchestration. The sound moves between tragic nobility and primal violence—echoing both the cursed legacy of the Worgen and the ancient dread of Drust sorcery lurking beneath the estate.
